Deschampsia caespitosa 'Goldtau' Golden Hairgrass
Description:
A compact variety with dense tussocks of dark green semi-evergreen
foliage, topped by airy silvery panicles in the early summer. Flowers
ripen to golden and remain attractive into the winter.
Planting/Use:
A lovely addition suited to the front or middle of the border. Bursting
into flower early in the season it remains attractive throughout summer.
General
Care: Cool season. Cut back sprent flowers and untidy foliage before
new spring growth. Cutting back earlier will prevent seedlings. Prefers
moist rich soil.
Exposure: Shade or full sun with adequate moisture.
Height/Spread: 60cm (2 ft).
