Description: A
clumping
evergreen grass, noted for its metallic blue foliage and its
showy oat-like
flowers. The bluish flowers rise above the foliage in June and
mature to a
golden wheat colour. Planting/Uses: effective as a specimen or
en masse. Steel
blue colouring and showy flowers make it an attractive addition
to the
landscape.
Planting/Use: Lovely planted with pink
hardy Geraniums, and charming in or against
terra-cotta or brick.
General Care: Cool season. Needs welldrained
soil. Rake out old foliage.
