Description: Blooming in late summer, the
flowers reddish purple, opening into fluffy
white plumes. The leaves are quite wide and
dark green, forming a fairly upright clump.
Fall foliage colour is gold, tinted orange-red.
Planting/Use: Stunning when in bloom,
adding height and texture to the border.
General Care: Warm season. Cut back in
early spring. Moist rich soil.
