Description: A compact fine textured
variety originating from the Japanese island
of Yaku Jima. Foliage takes on reddish tones
in fall. The reddish flowers appear late
summer, early fall.
Planting/Use: A good choice for smaller
gardens. Very showy in the fall, attractive
silhouette through the winter months.
General Care: Warm season. Cut back in
early spring. Moist rich soil.
Exposure: Full sun.
