Blue Switch Grass
Description: Long-live and sturdy, this
versatile grass makes a good specimen for the
garden, with its very upright metallic blue
blades and powdery blue panicles, tinged
pink. Airy flowers borne from late summer.
Planting/Use: Use en masse or in sweeps.
Also effective as a screen, and turns bluepurple
in the hottest summers!
General Care: Warm season. Drought and
wet tolerant, once established, in a wide range
of soils. Moist fertile loam preferred.
Exposure: Full sun.
