Pennisetum villosum White-flowering Fountain Grass

Description: A compact Pennisetum fron the mountainous regions of Africa. Blue-green narrow leaves form spreading mats of creeping foliage, but are not aggresive in colder climates. Flowers are pure white and are fuller and rounder than other fountain grasses.

Planting/Use: A very showy container plant. Effective en masse in the border.

General Care: Moist well drained soil.Tolerant of drought, heat, and salt spray once established. Cut back in early spring before new growth happens.

Exposure: Full Sun.

Height/Spread: 30-60cm (1-2ft) / slowly spreading.
