Ravenna Grass
Description: Clumping, deciduous, one of
the giants of the grass world, with robust
dense foliage topped by tall flower spikes
where the season is long enough. The grey
green foliage turns multicoloured in the fall.
Planting/Use: Requires sufficient warmth to
flower but worth growing strictly for the
foliage. Lovely in fall into winter with stems
becoming red and the foliage becoming
warm orange.
General
Care: Well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Cut
back in the
early spring.
Exposure: Full sun.
