Description: This upright arching prairie
native bears tall, dark, ribbon-like blades that
are subtly gold-edged. The green-brown
spikelets with purple anthers are carried from
early fall, high above the foliage.

Planting/Use: Autumn sees the foliage turn
buttery corn yellow. Beautiful in water
gardens or pond edges. Blooms fall to
winter.

General Care: Warm season, spreading. Salt
tolerant, and will take soil on the dry side,
but moist soil is best.

Exposure: Full sun is best

Height/Spread: 1.8m(6ft) / indefinite
